Although sometimes overwhelming I encourage you to always ask the sommelier for a recommendation, they happily will guide you to a better experience, my favourite question is “What would you drink with this dish?” - this is a hard question even for a seasoned sommelier, but they will sometimes provide you with incredible options, that you might not choose to begin with.
