From December 13th to 15th, 2024, Haarlem's charming downtown will welcome you with the most enchanting Christmas market in the Netherlands. You’ll get to explore about 350 charming stalls featuring everything from handmade crafts to delicious treats like frites and bratwurst, along with warm drinks like hot cocoa and glühwein.
The Christmas market stretches throughout downtown, connecting streets like Kruisstraat, Gierstraat, and Koningstraat into one festive path, guiding you to Haarlem’s enchanting Grote Markt. You can take a moment there to admire the majestic view of the Grote Kerk and the beautifully adorned Christmas tree. The shops in Haarlem's city center are also festively decorated during the Christmas market, making it a perfect time for some holiday shopping. You can stroll along the beautifully lit streets, like Grote Houtstraat and Barteljorisstraat, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere that fills the city.
